I meet the system requirements but I am still unable to play.
For most game errors, there are a couple of steps available that will alleviate the trouble. If you are having trouble:

In order to find rooms to play in you must click on the 'PLAY IN A ROOM'tab located to the right of the 'GAME INFO' tab beneath the 'Play Free Online' button.

Rooms will be divided by social topics for most of our online games.

For Poker games the tabs are divided into the level of stakes
- Low Stakes
- Medium Stakes
- High Stakes
- Tournaments
This game is too slow on my computer.

I see a red X when I launch the game.
Some members will see a Red X where a game should be running. This happens when a small piece of software provided by the game publisher is not installed. These little programs are called Active X controls. When you see a Red X you need to do the following to get the game running:
1. 1) Close down your browsers (and the AOL client)
2. 2) Open Windows Explorer and go to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files
3. 3) Find all non-Java labeled files
4. 4) Right-click it and select "Remove" for each
5. 5) Open up Internet Explorer or AOL and try to run the game again.

Here are steps to remove the games.com toolbar:
For Internet Explorer:
1. 1. Click on the round "gear" image on the far left of the toolbar.
2. 2. Rollover the help menu item.
3. 3. Select "uninstall toolbar."
4. 4. Click "uninstall" in the popup menu.
For FireFox:
1. 1. Click on the round "gear" image on the far left of the toolbar.
2. 2. Select uninstall from the dropdown menu
3. 3. Click "ok" when prompted.
4. 4. Restart your browser.
