Laura Speed has a dream of opening her own restaurant in the heart of New York City, but with looming college debt, and a dead end job, her dream seems completely unreachable. Following her weekly routine, Laura stops in at her local corner store for her fix of cooking magazines and takes her turn at chance by throwing in a lottery ticket one night. Her decision will change the course of her life.

In the late morning hours, Laura arrives home and her ticket reveals that she has won $500,000 and without a second thought, she jumps into action with the purchase of a restaurant site, and airline tickets to meet the top 5 chefs in the world; if she's going to be successful, she is going to need their help.

Players will follow along and help Laura through her travels to France, Italy, Greece, Ecuador, and Thailand where she will need to prove to each chef that she has what it takes to put together their recipes.

In order to do this, players will need to try their hand at a selection of challenging and entertaining puzzles, including logic puzzles, slider puzzles, hidden object stages, word wheel challenges, and many others. Each puzzle will unlock a recipe for Laura to use in her new restaurant and that the player can print out and use at home. Regional soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, desserts and martinis are all waiting behind each and every turn in this exciting adventure.

But nothing is ever as simple as winning the lotterym especially in the competitive world of cuisine. Without her knowledge, Laura is followed to each country by famous New York restaurateur Luke Flash, who his eye on the location Laura has purchased. Luke will pull out all the stops to try and sabotage her every step of the way, and ensure the doors of Continental Cafe never open.
