Canasta (Spanish for "basket") is a card game originating in Uruguay, in which players attempt to make melds of 7 cards of the same rank, and "go out" by playing all cards in their hand and discarding. Canasta is commonly played by four players in two partnerships with two standard decks of cards, but many Canasta variations exist for 2-3 and 6-player canasta games or teams.
This version of Canasta is widespread, especially in the United States, and it was the official tournament version used by the American Canasta Association. American Canasta can be found in few books. One notable exception is Scarne's Encyclopedia of Card Games, where the author claims to have invented a game which he calls International Canasta. Most of the elements of Modern American Canasta can be found in Scarne's International Canasta, although there are some differences.

Major problem with going out! You can pick up out of pile but you can not go out only bots can! Major Major problem! FIX!!!!!!!!
If you have three cards in your hand, one jack, 2 and 9 and their is a jack only card in discard pile. You takethe jack and now lay down the jack and two out of your hand. Why can you not lay the one card left (nine) down for your discard and go out. Canasta Thanks
I'm trying to download the game but it suddenly wants to add another application????????? Then it won't let me continue if I refuse????????
What the heck......I could get into it with no problem before, why a new application???? Do you think we will randomly add applications for every single game????

Apple removed JAVA from computers which is why I can't play anymore. Security issues. Stinks!

@geniejennings Get a private table then let the other person or people know which room and what table number. The passwords can be one digit.

when that www. com is just a gost site and when you try to go to it it has no information the can help us, if is not for the adds you run you have no income so wise up cause if we leave to other places not only will you loose us, but you will loose the people that pays for adds you run and keep you in business, not upset over you terrible changes , upset over the fact that you think we are dumb, hope we get a decent respond!!

I cant understand why you are paying NO attention to what the gaamers are saying. These are the people that read the ads and buy the products. Many like myself are looking (and changing )to other game programs. I have repeatedly ask why I can't play hearts. Loads but will not start. Don't get any answer.
The worst! Bring back the old board. Things for be changed for the better..this was not.

What the heck did you guys do to the setup of this game. It is absolutely terrible. Kick players out all the time. And it's not JAVA's problem. The old screen was so much better - why change things????

not fun at all because you cant see where your friends are at , no way a good site to be at yet , hope soon it will be as good as the old one
New format is terrible! Can't see available players, rooms, etc.
THis format does not work for regular Canasta players becuase you do not show the room names or avalable players. You also abandoned the old site and never update it so many are confused, sad and upset whie still playing there. PLease fix the old site or add to the new site.
