Mulch-ify the enemy while surviving obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and swimming pools. CHEATS & TIPS Plants Need Sunlight! Plant sunflowers early and often. You want to have at least five of these guys helping spawn more plants when the waves invade faster. When a zombie approaches, weigh out whether it is best to add a new plant to attack/defend or add another sunflower for future fuel. Choosing Your Crew You start off with five slots to place plants. As the story continues, Crazy Dave offers additional slots. There’s a lot to consider when selecting your active plants for a level. You need a sun-producing plant, a cheap attacking plant for when you begin the level and at least one line of last defense, like a Cherry Bomb or Jalapeno. Pick plants accordingly based on the kinds of zombies you are faced with later on. Consider Your Line of Defense Plant peashooters in the back near your sunflowers. This allows a maximum amount of time for attack, and they are less likely to be eaten. The more vulnerable the plant, the farther back it should be placed. In the frontlines, plant Wall-nuts and Tall-nuts to block the zombies. A chomper right behind a Wall-nut works wonders. There are many configurations to play around with. Time Your Gardening Timing is crucial in Plants Vs. Zombies, because a new type of zombie on the last wave can ruin early plans. When defending yourself in such a situation, take note of which zombies are fastest and deal with them first. Sometimes, it’s best to gather resources and stall the onslaught before fighting back. I'm enjoying Plants vs. Zombies Adventures, but why did / make the 2nd character sound like she's from The Sims? It's jarring.
