Garden Defense

Goal of the game

Stop the invading pests by placing defenses next to the path. Press the ready button on the right whenever you're ready and watch your work. After every wave, you are paid according to the health of your flowerbed. If all of your flowers die, the battle is lost.

Game controls

Place defenses next to the path by left-clicking an ornament or plant and placing it wherever you want.

Defeating pests earns you money. With money you can place another defense or you can upgrade your existing defenses. Upgrade an ornament or plant by left-clicking it and clicking the upgrade button, at the bottom of the screen.

You can upgrade or place a new item at any time, but it is easiest to prepare before hitting the ready button.

Gadgets can be moved at any time, even during an attack. Once moved, gadgets need time to fully activate. You can also salvage them to receive money. Note that plants cannot be moved, but you can trade them for money.

cherub: attacks and slows crawling pests

pink flamingo: attacks and slows flying pests

sunflower: attacks both crawling and flying pests

nightbells: attacks and slows crawling pests

spitting cactus: attacks and slows flying pests

The wave warning indicator warns you what type of enemies are approaching. Move your mouse over the image to see what it says.

Use the time control buttons to speed up or slow down the pace of the game.
