Games.com - What's New?
Welcome to the new Games.com! We're excited to announce a new line-up for your favorite free games site. Now you can play over 100 games and try many other games available to download on your PC. We are also working on new features that will reward your play and give you easy ways to connect with friends and family, or meet new people to play against. We know you'll find the new Games.com a fun place to play. You may have some questions about the new site, so we've tried to answer the ones we expect you'd have:
(1) What's new with Games.com?
The new Games.com has the best online games you can find anywhere. Card, Puzzle, Casino, Arcade -- you name it, we have it. We know it's easy to find online games these days, but it's tough to avoid the lemons. The Games.com staff sifts through the bad stuff so you don't have to. So, whether you have five minutes or five hours to relax and have fun, we're sure you'll like our line-up. We won't rest for a second, though - we have big things in store this summer for the new Games.com!
(2) Where do I play the arcade and board games that were on Games.com?
Games.com now offers a larger variety of games, including card and board games, word and puzzle games, arcade and others. We will continue to add to the library and hope to bring more of your favorite games to the site soon. We now offer you the ability to own your favorite classic Atari games by downloading 'Atari Classic Arcade' or 'Atari: 80 Classic Arcade Games in One!' which come with a free trial. To play the arcade and board games you once played on Games.com, click here.
(3) I see "Play Online" and "Download & Play" versions of some of your games. What does this mean, exactly?
Games.com provides you with a couple of ways to play - you can play online or download enhanced versions of most games to your computer's hard drive. To play an online game, simply click on a game in the games list that has a "Play Online" icon and you're set for fun. If you want to get a free trial of the enhanced game, click on the "Download & Play" icon to get more information and start your download. The free trial is usually 60 minutes and then you'll have the option to buy when the trial is over. Games.com prides itself on giving you a secure and easy-to-use site so you can spend less time searching and more time playing.
(4) Are your poker games free to play or do they cost money?
Games.com is excited to offer you free-to-play World Series of Poker games. These games will always be FREE to play and the money you earn in the game is only for play on the site. You will be able to enter FREE online tournaments to win prizes including special tournaments where you could win a free entry into the live World Series of Poker in Las Vegas! THESE GAMES DO NOT OFFER ONLINE GAMBLING.
(5) Is Games.com different from AOL Games?
Games.com is part of the AOL Games network but there are differences in the game libraries. With the strength of AOL Games, we'll be able to offer you new features that will reward your play and give you easy ways to connect with friends and family, or meet new people to play against. We're busy working on these features now, so check back often for some major announcements.
